Dinner & Discussion: The truth about singleness and marriage

You are invited to a special dinner event!
Enjoy an evening of delicious food and meaningful conversations as we join with Rev’d Dr Dani Treweek and Rev’d Scott Goode to discuss the joyful truth of singleness and marriage in the church.

The $15 ticket will go towards dinner and drinks and will cater to common dietary requirements.

The hope is that this will be a night to join together in discussion, let go of some of the misconceptions around singleness and marriage and find joy in the truth of God’s word. Everyone is welcome however anyone trying to understand their place in the church as a single person, or recently married may find it particularly timely.

Rev’d Dr Dani Treweek is in Canberra as the keynote speaker at the Canberra Women’s Christian Convention. Dani is the author of The Meaning of Singleness and is the founding director of the Single Minded Ministry. Rev’d Scott Goode is the senior minister at South Wagga Anglican Church, the author of Salvific Intentionality in 1 Corinthians, and has ongoing research interests in New Testament marriage theology.
