Why your loved ones will need the Bible and a whole lot more
Addiction is no longer rare. It’s normal.
Across Australia, compulsive habits are silently shaping lives, often beginning in adolescence and affecting entire families. Even within the Church, these struggles can be hard to talk about and even harder to address.
Join us for a practical, honest and biblically grounded conversation about what addiction really is, why it’s so difficult to break, and how Christian leaders, families, and everyday believers can respond with both spiritual clarity and practical care.
The Director of St Mark’s, Dr. Jacqueline Service, will be looking for answers from Nicky Lock. Nicky isn’t just an Adjunct Lecturer on Pastoral Counselling with St Mark’s, she’s one of Australia’s most experienced Counsellors for people trying to recover from addiction.
Come ready to learn – with plenty of questions.
