Description

In her essay, ‘The God we worship; the worship we owe’, Katherine Sonderegger discusses the way Christian thinking about God can and should begin from the biblical testimony to God’s presence to his creation. This starting point allows for robust metaphysical conclusions, without evading the deep mystery of speech about God. A number of Australian respondents engage with this essay and aspects of Sonderegger’s Systematic Theology, examining questions such as natural theology, simplicity, incommensurability, Scripture, and learned ignorance.
Rev'd Prof Katherine Sonderegger is a leading American theologian and interpreter of Karl Barth's work.
