Credit Transfer
We recognise the value of your previous study, work experience, and informal learning. If you’ve already gained relevant knowledge or skills, you may be eligible to receive credit towards your degree through Credit Transfer or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

If you’ve completed formal studies at another university, TAFE, or college, you may be able to receive credit for subjects that match those in your chosen course
What you will need:
We assess whether your previous studies align with Charles Sturt University’s subject content and learning outcomes. Credit can be granted as either specified credit (for a particular Charles Sturt University subject) or unspecified credit (for elective components).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
If you’ve gained skills and knowledge through work, volunteering, or life experience, RPL allows you to have this learning recognised—even if it wasn’t gained through formal study.
