How to keep your humanity in the AI age

Dr Amy Erickson wanted to avoid the topic of AI. But at the start of the academic year she started to receive papers that seemed to be AI generated and it “felt like it was desecrating the craft of scholarship that [she] devoted her life to training for and that [she] thinks is so valuable.” This led to a weekly reading group with students to wrestle theologically with AI.
