St Mark’s Review

St Mark’s Review has been a leading journal of Christian thought and opinion since 1955. The Review aims at lively, responsible and relevant discussions of matters that are of importance to the Christian community in Australia and for the life of our society.

About each issue

Each issue of the Review is dedicated to a specific theme and articles are commissioned to address that theme.

Most articles featured in the Review are intended for anyone with a broad interest in theological questions and religious questions of contemporary significance. Specialists will also find the fruits of fresh thinking from a community of scholars determined to engage in dialogue with both the Church and the world.

St Mark’s Review is also available as an e-resource for libraries worldwide that have access to the following databases:

AtlaSerials PLUS (Atlas PLUS): all issues
Informit Humanities and Social Sciences Collection: from Issue 207, Mar. 2009
Australian Public Affairs Full Text: from Issue 159, Spr. 1994

Calling new contributors!

We are always on the look-out for new contributors, both for our blog and printed publication.

Our blog features shorter articles on contemporary issues impacting our church, society, and the world and caters to a broad audience. These articles can range anywhere from 500 to 2,000 words and are published on a more ad hoc basis.

Our printed journal is a biannual theological publication that brings a more academic focus and cadence to Christian issues. Each article is peer-reviewed and adheres to St Mark’s writing style guide. It is often a good starting platform for our students learning to write for formal publication.
