THEOLOGICAL STUDIES

Graduate Diploma

The Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies from Charles Sturt University offers an admission pathway into theological study for students with an undergraduate degree. It provides an introduction to Christian theology, Old Testament studies and New Testament studies.

 

This theology degree provides a foundational component of training for ministry in the church. After just one year of studying four subjects part-time online, you’ll be well-positioned to supplement existing knowledge to further enhance your career prospects.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from an approved tertiary institution, other than an undergraduate degree in Theology.

Credit Arrangements

  • Credit may be considered for Systematic Theology, Biblical Studies, Church History and Practical Theology subjects successfully completed at other institutions at the graduate level.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, graduates will:

  5. Be able to articulate and communicate theological concepts and ideas in a variety of contexts

The Master, Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate make up an articulated set of courses and credit is given in each higher level course for the subjects completed in the lower.
