Step-by-step application process

If you are interested in studying one of our courses and are wondering how to apply, you have come to the right place.  This page provides guidance on how to apply for our undergraduate or postgraduate courses.

Step 1: Choose your course

  • St Mark’s NTC offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in theology, ministry, pastoral counselling, and supervision.

Step 2: Review entry requirements

  • Each course has specific admission criteria. For instance:
  • The Graduate Diploma of Pastoral Counselling requires an undergraduate degree in theology, psychology, or an equivalent field. Applicants without such a degree may be considered based on other qualifications and experience .
  • The Bachelor of Theology (Honours) requires eligibility to graduate with the Bachelor of Theology and a credit average or better in Level 2 and Level 3 subjects .

Step 3: Apply via Charles Sturt University

  • All applications are processed through Charles Sturt.
  • Visit the Charles Sturt University Application Portal to start your application.
  • Ensure you select the appropriate course and indicate St Mark’s NTC as your preferred study location.

Prepare supporting documents

Depending on the course, you may need to provide:

  • Academic transcripts
  • Proof of qualifications
  • Personal statement or letter of motivation
  • Professional or academic references
  • Resume or CV

Step 4: Submit your application

  • Complete and submit your application through the Charles Sturt application portal.

  • Charles Sturt will assess your application and notify you of the outcome.
  • If successful, you will receive an offer letter with instructions on how to accept the offer and enroll.
