Charles Sturt offer a wide range of scholarships and grants to support students at every stage of their academic journey. Whether you’re beginning undergraduate study, pursuing postgraduate coursework, or undertaking a higher degree by research (HDR), these financial opportunities are designed to help reduce the cost of study and remove barriers to participation.
While there are no theology-specific awards, the School of Theology students (both undergrad and postgraduate) are eligible for several general, equity, and placement-focused scholarships:
Charles Sturt scholarships and grants are there to help students across all disciplines (including theology) with costs such as tuition, textbooks, accommodation and living expenses. Awards span academic merit, equity (e.g. First Nations, carers, regional), community service, sporting and course-specific grants. These awards are funded by both Charles Sturt and external partners (alumni, government, not-for-profits, local organisations). You can apply for any of the awards offered, for which you meet the criteria. There is no limit on the number of applications you submit.
