St Mark’s brings leading international theologians to Canberra, connecting our community with global scholars in open, public conversation — in the heart of the parliamentary triangle.
On 20 August, join us for a conversation with Stan Grant, a Wiradjuri, Kamilaroi and Dharawal man, a journalist, theologian, and one of Australia’s most widely read authors including the critically acclaimed books, Talking to My Country, Murriyang: Song of Time and When Words Fail Us: Truth Beyond Time.
He is Distinguished Professor and Director of Yindyamarra Nguluway at Charles Sturt University, where he completed a PhD in theology through St Mark’s National Theological Centre in 2024.
Dr Geoff Broughton and Anna Moore will lead a discussion with Professor Grant, followed by a time of Q&A.
12.30pm. BYO lunch. All welcome. Free of charge.
