3-day part-time position
$39k + super ($65k per annum pro-rated)
St Mark’s relies upon business partners for the provision of services in HR, Finance and Payroll, Risk and Compliance and other areas. The main provider is Anglican Diocesan Services (ADS). In addition, the work of St Mark’s is supported by some administrative units within Charles Sturt University (CSU), and sundry smaller organisations.
The successful applicant will assist the Director and other staff to liaise more effectively with these providers and to manage relationships with them. He or she must have proven skills in organisational administration and will be sympathetic to the vision, ethos and aims of St Mark’s. They will work flexibly and adaptably within a busy team, showing an ability to convert high-level instruction into detailed, workable operational processes.
This new position will amplify the work of St Mark’s by enabling the Director to focus on strategy and thought-leadership; by finding and implementing improved processes; and by collaborating with and supporting other staff, for more efficient back-office operations at the Centre.
St Mark’s is a theological college owned and operated by the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. The Centre is centrally orthodox in theological outlook and is ecumenical, practical, missional and scholarly. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework and research) degrees through its higher education partnership with CSU; other qualifications through its Registered Training Organisation (RTO); and some unaccredited programs. Our small community of faculty and administrative staff seeks to constructively engage and educate people for effective Christian participation and ministry in Australian society.
