Application and Enrolments Procedure

  1.  Applications for course entry are made online through the St Mark’s VETenrol portal.
  2.  Applications are assessed for suitability and completeness; if you are successful, you will be allocated a place in the course.
  3.  An electronic confirmation of enrolment will be sent to you along essential information such as login credentials; this usually happens about two weeks prior to the start of a course.
  4.  Students can only commence study after receiving their confirmation of enrolment.
  5.  Invoices for the semester’s fees will be sent shortly after the confirmation of enrolment and are due 14 days from the start of the semester. St Mark’s has several payment options such as direct deposit and BPay; these will be included with the invoice.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is a process in which a learner applies to have various competencies gained through previous learning and experience to be recognised by St Mark’s. VET Qualifications are comprised of a number of Units of Competency, and a person may apply to receive RPL for one or more of these units. An application for a whole-of-qualification RPL may be made at any time. However, an application for RPL for part of a course must be made at least three months before the start date of the portion of the course in which the relevant Units of Competency are being taught. There is a cost involved for each unit of competency; this will be credited towards the cost of your course if your application is unsuccessful. If you wish to apply for RPL, the first step is to get in touch with us. Send an email to registrar@stmarks.edu.au, or call us on (02) 6272 6252.
