Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to ensure the smooth operations of our Centre

  • Permanent part time role (0.8FTE) – Tuesday to Friday (with some flexibility negotiable)
  • Hourly rate from $35 – $40 (plus 11.5% super) depending on experience
  • Join our mission-minded team at our parkland setting in Barton, overlooking Lake Burley Griffin with parking onsite.

St Mark’s National Theological Centre provides people with the ‘tools’ for ministry in an environment that is ‘centrally orthodox,’ biblically based, practical, missional, ecumenically collaborative, and scholarly. We are seeking an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to ensure the smooth operations of our Centre

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of welcome and contact – handling student and visitor enquiries.
  • Provide general administrative support to faculty and staff.
  • Coordinate room bookings, set up events, and liaise with contractors.
  • Manage routine IT tasks and provide high-level support.
  • Assist with processing invoices, donations, and general financial tasks.

About You:

  • A personal commitment to the Christian faith and membership of a local church will enable you to appreciate the role of St Mark’s.
  • Relevant qualifications for and/or experience in a client facing administrative role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and managing websites.
  • Flexible, with a service attitude and ability to prioritise tasks.
