CSU’s Graduate Diploma in Theological Studies offers a graduate pathway into theological study for students with an undergraduate degree. It encourages and fosters the search for meaning and spiritual depth in the context of cultural and religious pluralism in contemporary Australia.
This course provides a foundational component of training for ministry in the church and offers students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Bible and theology. It consists of eight subjects (64 points) with four core subjects and four electives. Students can choose to exit with a Graduate Certificate in Theology upon completion of four subjects. This course also articulates into the Master of Arts (Theological Studies).

Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from an approved tertiary institution, other than an undergraduate degree in Theology.
To enrol, students apply directly to Charles Sturt University.

The Graduate Diploma of Theology provides a good grounding in Theology. It has also been a requirement for ordination to the Anglican Canberra and Goulburn Diaconate.
